Chicago Rehearsal

These videos are of another rehearsal of Cell Block Tango, where improvements are evident. Our timing is much better and when we dance in unison, we look like one. we were hitting every beat, came in for our canons on time and the soloists knew their cues to start their solos. This made the routine look much more professional and cleaner. Also, we introduced the fabric props in this rehearsal, and it still needs work, but we handled these props very well and used them at the right time in the routine. However, there was some confusion as to when we drop them and pick them up, so we need to work on that some more. Furthermore, we added more choreography to the next part of the song but when we videoed it, we all forgot the moves, so in the next rehearsal we plan on going over that part and perfecting it so that it stays in our long-term memory.

Rent contextual analysis

This is my character analysis sheet for the character I portray in Rent, Seasons of Love. It states what this character is like, their quotes, their relationships with other characters and how I will portray that to the audience. I found this very useful as it broke the character down for me so I could know them inside out, resulting in me being able to embody these characters accurately and easily.
